University House Room G08 1pm-5pm Refreshments and post seminar drinksHosted by the Risk, Reliability and Resilience (r3)

Research Group

Contemporary organizations must balance a myriad of risks in often competitive and uncertain environments. Reliability and resilience theories reject prescriptive solutions to these challenges and instead offers a more holistic lens that illuminates the individual, group and systemic variables that influence risk and uncertainty. This is the second seminar of the r3 group and it brings together scholars and practitioners from a range of organizations to engage in current debate and discuss emerging research in this subject area as a way to identify new research directions and examine practical implications. Timetable is as follows:

• Refreshments provided on arrival (12.30-13.00)• Presentations and discussions (13.00-17.00)
• Free wine and soft drinks post-seminar

Attendance of this event is free but numbers are limited. To RSVP please contact Mark Hall: m.a.hall.1@bham.ac.uk
